Full-time We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Lean Manufacturing, materials handling, and warehouse operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Implement safety and follow all safety procedures, instructions, and rules.
Proactively implement and drive the highest 5S level in work area.
Acts as a working supervisor, running machinery as well as providing guidance to team.
Acts as front line for direction, instruction, and training of staff.
Works in coordination with Production Manager to manage the daily operations of assigned employee(s), assuring overall quality, productivity, and policy / contract adherence.
Supports employee(s) by answering questions and assisting where needed.
Performs, or assists in, the orientation and training of employees.
Directs the activities of a manufacturing team within the shift.
Achieves required safety, quality, delivery, and performance levels.
Develops, coordinates, leads, and executes daily production plans.
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 1-10 employees within the department(s).
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; participates in appraising, rewarding, and discipline of direct reports; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
